      Juventus and Roma are monitoring Adriano's situation at Inter Milan.

      The Brazilian was ruled out of tonight's Champions League clash against Valencia a fortnight after being caught partying into the early hours of the morning ahead of the first-leg meeting in Milan.

      While Adriano has been linked with a move abroad, Juve and Roma are discussing keeping the Brazil international in Italy next season.

      Roma see Adriano as the perfect foil for Francesco Totti, while Juve would turn to the ex-Parma man should they fail to land Luca Toni, the Fiorentina striker.

      Inter would encourage interest from both clubs - Adriano could be used as a carrot to convince Juve to sell Gigi Buffon, or in Roma's case to strengthen their bid for winger Amantino Mancini, a favourite of Nerazzurro coach Roberto Mancini.
