      Napoli general manager Pierpaolo Marino has declared their interest in Real Madrid's unsettled striker Antonio Cassano.

      Marino said yesterday: "We must be prepared to sign players of his calibre. It's not true that Napoli are not interested in Cassano.

      "For now, we are not ready to sign a player like Cassano. We are building a Formula One car, but at the moment we're still working on the engine."

      ich bin seit heute neu hier und wollte erst einmal "Hallo" an alle sagen. Ich bin schon seit geraumer Zeit Roma-Fan und war auch schon persönlich im Olimpico und habe vor allen Dingen Cassano schon persönlich (wie viele andere Romaspieler) auf dem Trainingsgelände Trigoria getroffen. Ihr habt alle Recht. Cassano ist ein A..., aber ich finde, diese Momente werden wir alle nicht vergessen:

      ich denke nicht das cassano das arschl. ist !! er ist einfach einer
      der nicht die klappe halten kann .. das ist sein größtes problem denk ich
      mal ..

      die aussage die er damals über totti gemacht hat ist das einzige
      das ich ihm vorwerfe.. aber sonst ist er für mich einer der
      besten stürmer die es gibt..

      vor allem das zusammen spiel mit totti war genial ..
      so was sieht man nicht oft im fußball.. (leider)

      und wer kann schon genau sagen was damals wirklich passiert ist !!!

      ich würde ihm sehr gerne wieder bei uns sehen...

    • Wohl wahr, ich dachte allerdings, dass Cassano gar nicht mehr zum Zug kommt. Eigentlich bin ich ziemlich überrascht. Aber das war ich von der Rückkehr von Beckham auch... Naja, Herr Cappello kann sich ja nicht mehr allzuviel erlauben. Na, mal sehen, wie's weitergeht. Laß Dich überraschen.... The show must go on...:D

      "tötlicher" Pass....bis auf dne hat man in seinen 45 Minuten Spielzeit NICHTS gesehen. habdas Spiel gesehen..keien 2 Minutena uf dem paltz, da hatte er schon gelb.

      Azzurri Coach Roberto Donadoni believes that Antonio Cassano can still give his contribution to the Nazionale despite his struggling season in Spain.

      The Bari-born striker has recently been called back by Fabio Capello after his exclusion from the Real Madrid squad in October and the tactician remains confident that he can do well.

      “He isn’t playing much and isn’t granted enough time, but when he is allowed to go onto the pitch he does well,” Donadoni told Gazzetta.it.

      “It is very important for him to return to being a protagonist in order to give his contribution to the Nazionale too,” added the former Livorno boss.

      Italy will play the next Euro 2008 qualifier against Scotland on March 28 and recent rumours suggested Francesco Totti might make his Azzurri return in that game.

      “When will he be back? We will see later on, he is still recovering completely from the injury that also affected his World Cup last year,” explained Donadoni.

      “I think he needs to complete his rehabilitation program, then we can discuss his return. It isn’t easy to give up on fielding such important players, but we already discussed this issue months ago,” concluded the Coach.

      Antonio Cassano reportedly called Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello "crazy" for not throwing him on during Saturday night's 3-3 draw in Barcelona.

      AS says Cassano confronted Capello at the final whistle and blasted: "You are crazy! Why didn't you make a third substitution?"

      Cassano had backing from his Real teammates, but it was only the Italian who let his feelings known to the coach.

      The last time Cassano let rip at Capello was for the game against Nastic in October, which saw the striker barred from training with the first team squad and touted around Europe.
