Juventus winger Mauro Camoranesi could be set to join Inter in June according to the latest reports in Italy.
The world champion is currently contracted to the Bianconeri outfit until 2009 but had already attracted the interest of the Nerazzurri in the summer, when he had expressed his doubts about playing in Serie B, before Juventus blocked his departure.
La Gazzetta dello Sport now suggests that Inter are ready to make a new offer for the Argentine-born midfielder, who has proved to be a key player for Didier Deschamps so far, as the Juve management could let him leave Turin at the end of the season.
Furthermore, the Nerazzurri are looking to replace Luis Figo, whose contract expires in June 2007 and is reportedly set for a January exit, with the Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad his alleged destination.
Inter, who have not ruled out the idea of signing Gianluigi Buffon as well, could also include Walter Samuel in the deal, as the former Roma man has not been given much playing time so far this term and has made no secret of the fact that he would favour a transfer to another club.
No financial details have been revealed, as it seems that Inter might try to make a joint offer for both Camoranesi and Buffon, a move that would certainly be postponed until June.

      Soso, Inter plündert also weiter.

    • Grimi schon in Mailand

    • Juve target Barzagli and Luisao

Reports from Italy suggest that Juventus may be lining up a move for Azzurri stopper Andrea Barzagli.
The Bianconeri already have the meanest defence in Serie B – having only conceded eight times in 17 outings – but that doesn’t seem to be enough for ambitious Coach Didier Deschamps.
It is thought that the French tactician won’t keep faith with the defensive partnership of Robert Kovac and Jean-Alain Boumsong should the Old Lady find themselves back in the top flight.
Barzagli has regularly been linked with a move away from Palermo, but continues to impress in Sicily where he is a fans’ favourite. However, he may be lured to Turin as Deschamps builds a side to reclaim top spot in Serie A.
It has been suggested that the deal may be a part-exchange involving Juve-owned forward Fabrizio Miccoli, who is currently on loan with Benfica.
Although Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini is reluctant to release Barzagli, the Rosanero need to replace injured striker Amauri and were watching Miccoli in pre-season.
Another option that has been suggested would see Juve trade Miccoli for Brazilian defender Luisao of Benfica. Interestingly, the 25-year old started his career at Atletico Juventus in Brazil’s third tier.
It remains unclear whether any move will take place in January or June, but the Bianconeri’s collapse against lowly Arezzo last Friday may have set the wheels in motion.

    • Juve set for Sissoko swoop

Reports in England have suggested that Juventus’ top midfield transfer target is now Liverpool’s Momo Sissoko.
West Ham flop Javier Mascherano had previously occupied the top spot on Juve’s wish list, but it is now being mooted that he will instead join the Reds – freeing Sissoko for Juve.
Bianconeri Coach Didier Deschamps has compared the midfielder to former Arsenal and Juventus player Patrick Vieira.
The 21-year-old Mali youngster is seemingly flattered by Juve’s interest, especially considering that he is now no more than cover for Steven Gerrard and Xabi Alonso.
He was signed from Valencia for £3m 18 months ago, but hasn’t had the chance to show his best form because of injuries, including the shoulder problem which is currently sidelining him.
Juventus’ offer will probably be around £6m, a price which is likely to be considered acceptable by the Merseysiders.

    • Viola eye summer reinforcements

Fiorentina director general Pantaleo Corvino is already planning for next season, with his eyes firmly set on two Azzurri players.
Reports suggest that negotiations have started with Torino concerning world champion midfielder Simone Barone.
The Granata are interested in Brazilian striker Reginaldo, and the Viola could use him to get to Barone.
Torino boss Alberto Zaccheroni doesn’t consider the midfielder as untouchable and a few months ago Inter were allegedly close to signing him.
Prandelli hopes that he will be able to count on Barone by next summer, but has also suggested another name to Corvino.
Talented winger Marco Marchionni (pictured) is regarded by the tactician as one of the best youngsters around the peninsula.
However, he is finding it difficult to settle at Juventus since his move from Parma, and he has rarely started a game during this first part of the season.
The Bianconeri may block his departure though as he is regarded as a bright talent for the future, even if he is having minimal impact at present.

    • Inter will Messi

Henry, Messi, Buffon... Dass ich nicht lache!

    • Inter offered Becks

Real Madrid have offered David Beckham to Inter after conceding defeat in their efforts to hold on to the midfielder, according to reports in England.
The former England captain has been at the centre of constant speculation since the arrival of new Coach Fabio Capello this summer.
The arrival of Argentine youngster Fernando Gago in Madrid has put Beckham’s first-team place in further doubt as the midfielder demands guarantees over his role before signing a new contract.
His current deal expires in June and with a renewal looking increasingly unlikely it is now believed that the Merengues are prepared to cash in on the player in January.
The 31-year-old has reportedly been offered to the Nerazzurri for a fee of just £4m, a deal that may prove too enticing for President Massimo Moratti if Luis Figo were to depart in the winter transfer window.
However, Real are still hoping that Beckham will opt to extend his current £100,000 per week contract for another two years, although Becks has insisted that his decision will not be based on financial reasons.
“After the conversations that we have maintained in the last months, David Beckham already has our offer on the table. Now it is he who has to decide,” explained club President Ramon Calderon.
“We are very happy with David and we all would like him to continue playing for the club and hope that he renews his contract,” added the controversial President.
Despite those comments though, it is thought that the Spanish giants are yet to receive any response to their offer. Beckham will be able to discuss a Bosman move with other clubs on January 1.
Teams as far apart as Bolton Wanderers, Los Angeles Galaxy and Al Ittihad have all been touted as possible destinations for the Galactico, but the Nerazzurri now seem to be leading the race to land his signature.

      Inter eye Jimenez

There are rumours in Italy that Inter are lining up a January bid for Chilean winger Luis Jimenez in the event that Luis Figo quits the club.
The last week has seen intense Press speculation over Figo’s future with reports that he may be set to pen a lucrative deal with Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad.
Jimenez is currently under contract with Serie C side Ternana, but spent the second half of last season with Fiorentina and impressed on the big stage, scoring in the Viola’s victory over the Nerazzurri.
With Roberto Mancini seeking a Plan B in preparation of Figo’s possible departure, it is thought that Jimenez is now the front runner.
In total, Jimenez made 19 appearances in Serie A last season and found the net on three occasions.
The 22-year-old was expected to make a permanent move to the top flight last summer, but Ternana failed to agree on a fee for a move to Lazio.
If the Inter do make a move for Jimenez they are unlikely to be alone. Amongst others, Lazio are still said to be interested in luring the young star.

      Milan have Belletti option

Milan may opt to swoop for Barcelona full-back Juliano Belletti if they can’t agree terms with Lazio for Massimo Oddo.
While it has been reported that the Biancocelesti are ready to accept a January offer for the want-away Azzurri defender, there are still concerns that Lazio President Claudio Lotito may drive a hard bargain for his prized asset.
According to sources in Spain, Milan have indicated that they would be ready to offer Barcelona around £3.4m for the 30-year-old Brazilian.
Belletti’s brother, who also acts as his agent, has indicated that the ex-Villarreal man would be delighted to secure a move to the San Siro.
Belletti scored the winning goal in last season’s Champions League Final, but has struggled to get on the team sheet this term following the arrival of Gianluca Zambrotta.

      Inter seek Figo stay

Internazionale supremo Massimo Moratti has reportedly launched a bid to persuade Luis Figo to remain in Serie A.
Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad have already announced the capture of the Portuguese international, who is set to team up with his new owners on 5th January.
But with the clock ticking on his time at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, it seems the Nerazzurri have now decided to make a counter offer.
Figo's contract with Inter is set to expire in June, but Moratti could now be set to offer him a season's extension to stay in Italy.
The 34-year-old is now thought to be reconsidering his options before making a final decision on his future at the beginning of the New Year.

      Palermo eye Tomasson swoop

Stuttgart's Jon Dahl Tomasson is believed to be attracting interest from Serie A side Palermo.
The Italian side are currently looking for a replacement for Carvalho Amauri, who has been ruled out for up to four months with a knee injury, and Tomasson appears to be one of their top targets.
Palermo may have to fight for the 30-year-old's signature, after his club confirmed they had received interest from La Liga outfit Lavante.
The former-Milan striker has frequently said that he wishes to leave his club, to which he is contracted until 2009.

    • Inter stage Diarra raid

Inter are looking to Real Madrid for their midfield reinforcements, seeking Mahamadou Diarra and David Beckham.
It has been reported over the past few days that Beckham’s contract dispute with the club has dragged on to such a degree that the former England captain has been offered to the Nerazzurri for a January move.
This would be particularly likely if Al-Ittihad’s claims that Luis Figo will be presented as their player on January 8 turn out to be true.
That isn’t the end of the negotiations between San Siro and the Bernabeu, as the ‘Corriere dello Sport’ suggests that teammate Diarra is also a prime candidate for the switch to Serie A.
The Mali midfielder was one of the big summer buys from Olympique Lyonnais, but he has been frozen out of the squad following a row with Fabio Capello.
Diarra was caught on camera criticising the Coach’s decisions during the warm-up for the Liga game against Espanyol on December 17.
He was discussing the matter with Antonio Cassano – also set to leave Madrid for Italian shores – and a quiet Ronaldo.
Both Diarra and Cassano were punished for the next match, left out of the humiliating 3-0 home defeat to Recreativo Huelva, although officially the decision was due to muscular problems.
Inter are keeping close tabs on the situation and – after picking up Esteban Cambiasso, Walter Samuel, Santiago Solari and Figo on cut-price deals – hope to stage another prestigious swoop on the Madrid squad.

    • Oddo: Lazio will mehr Geld

      www.442.ch
