      ich find die Einstellung von Alberto toll er sagt zwar das es super ist das wir wieder so nah dran sind aber wir sollten die auf den Boden bleiben - :super:

      Da gab's ja mal diese Geschichte beim Meisterschaftsfinale 2001/02, als Juve ganz knapp vor uns Meister wurde. Damals spielten sie am letzten Spieltag gegen Lazio und wir gegen Torino. Da wir gegen torino sicher gewannen, hätte eine Niederlage von Rubbe den Meistertitel für die Roma bedeutet.
      Daher drohten die Fans der Laziali vor dem Spiel den eigenen Spielern(!!!) Prügel an, sollten sie gegen Rubbe gewinnen und uns dadurch zum Meister machen. Am Ende hat dann Juve gewonnen und wurde auch Meister...würde es den Laziali durchaus zutrauen, dass es diesmal wieder so abläuft...

    • Hab grad nachgeschaut: War doch nicht gegen rubbe sondern gegen Inter....und Lazio hat sogar 4-2 gewonnen und verhinderte dadurch den Meistertitel von Inter (die durch die Niederlage am letzten Spieltag noch von Rubbe UND uns überholt wurden)....war also doch ein bisschen anders, aber das mit den angedrohten Prügel stimmt, weil Roma auch noch Meister hätte werden können ;)





    • aquilani ist in den turbulenzen der letzten tage ein wenig untergegangen, sollte aber nicht vergessen werden, dass er schon wieder verletzt ist. Artikel von corsport zu aquilani: sie wissen nicht, warum alberto immer schmerzen hat...

      es gibt schwierigkeiten zwischen AA und dem medico staff der roma (seit längerem). es gibt zwei untersuchungen von der villa stuart und der dottoressa Giannini, die aussagen, dass er keinen bruch im fuss hat. AA hat aber eine neue untersuchung gemacht (wie schon öfters), die eine mikrofraktur im fuss gezeigt hat, die die schmerzen im fuss verursachen. Es gibt aber keine fraktur heißt es dazu aus der trigoria...

C'è pero il fatto che il giocatore, come già accaduto in altre circostanze, si è andato a fare almeno un'altra risonanza magnetica dove gli hanno dia­gnosticato una microfrattura che, appunto, sarebbe all'origine del dolore al piede. «Non c'è nessuna frattura» hanno ribadito e garanti­to da Trigoria, tagliando di netto qualsiasi altra ipotesi...     • Jetzt bei der EM? Ja klar, da wird er sicherlich seinen Bankplatz sicher haben. Ein, zwei kurze Einsätze darf man ihm aber schon zutrauen.

      Bei der Roma muss man schauen wie das System zur nächsten Saison umgestellt wird. Aber da ist er ja eh gut dabei, und sein Standpunkt wird nicht schlechter werden. Im Gegenteil.

      Ospite dello Speciale CalcioMercato di Sportitalia, Franco Zavaglia ha ovviamente parlato del futuro del suo principale assistito, Alberto Aquilani. "L'accordo c'è. Ora la palla passa alla Roma che dopo gli Europei dovrebbe definire il tutto. Credo che un calciatore che piace a tutto il Mondo non possa essere ceduto per un milione di euro in più o in meno. Sono ottimista". Il prolungamento dovrebbe avvenire fino al 2013. L'ingaggio passerebbe da un milioni a due milioni e mezzo a stagione. Addio Juve e Inter.

    • Italy's young midfielder Aquilani being tapped for biggest start of his career against Spain

      Alberto Aquilani has a tattoo on his right shoulder that reads "Ad Maiora," Latin for "to even greater success."

      The young Italy midfielder appears set to turn the saying into reality in Sunday's European Championship quarterfinal match with Spain. With Andrea Pirlo and Gennaro Gattuso both suspended due to accumulated cards, Aquilani is being tapped for his first start of the tournament.

      "He's shown good growth and he's put himself in a position to start," Italy coach Roberto Donadoni said Saturday. "I'm more than certain that whoever I choose to replace Pirlo and Gattuso will do a good job."

      Aquilani's only action so far came when he replaced Gattuso for the final eight minutes of Italy's 2-0 win over France in the Azzurri's final group game. At 23, Aquilani is the second youngest member of Italy's squad, only a month older than defender Giorgio Chiellini. He has made six previous appearances for the Azzurri, but this would be his first start in a major tournament.

      Known for his dribbling skills and accurate long-range shots, Aquilani has been preparing for this opportunity since he made his Serie A debut in 2003 at the age of 18, when then-AS Roma coach Fabio Capello sent him on for Brazil stalwart Emerson in injury time of a 3-1 win over Torino.

      After a season on loan to Triestina, Aquilani developed into a regular with Roma, fulfilling the promise that saw him courted by English clubs Chelsea and Arsenal when he was 16.

      Aquilani's father Claudio used to run the ambulance service at Rome's Stadio Olimpico, and Aquilani nearly signed for Roma rival Lazio at one point.

      "I did a try out but I never donned a Lazio jersey," he is quick to point out, adding that his idol was always Roma captain Francesco Totti.

      Totti retired from international play after Italy won the 2006 World Cup, but Aquilani could still be joined by three other Roma players in Italy's lineup against Spain: defender Christian Panucci and fellow midfielders Daniele De Rossi and Simone Perrotta.

      "I'm just glad to be here after such a turbulent two seasons," said Aquilani, who has been bothered by injuries for much of the past couple seasons.

      Under the Latin words on Aquilani's shoulder, there is a cross and four initials to represent each member of his family, starting with himself: A for Alberto, C for his father Claudio, A for his mother Annamaria and M for his sister Monica.

      Aquilani is obviously dedicated to his family and would like nothing better than to stay with Roma and near to home for his entire career. But his contract expires in 2010, and his estimated worth on the transfer market is €20 million (US$31 million).

      "I'm a Roma player until 2010 and I've always said I want to remain with the Giallorossi, but you need commitments from both sides to sign a contract," Aquilani said.

      "One thing is certain. I'll only leave if the club decides to sell me, without resorting to FIFA's Article 17 or anything else," Aquilani added. "I'm in no hurry, and it's not a question of money. I just want to understand the team's position. At 23, I'm at an important point in my career."

      At a point where he is primed for "even greater success."
